Yesterday's trading Looking Forward to the Past new York brought two of the historical record:
"Women of Algiers (Version 0)" Pablo Picasso sold for $179,365,000 - the most expensive work of art sold at public auction, and "Man pointing" Alberto Giacometti sold for $141,285,000 - this is the most expensive sculpture. On the photo Giacometti sculpture in the background "Black bar" Mark Rothko, which was sold at these auctions at $40,485,000. |
