Rama, Holland 17c.

The front part of the frame is made of black (ebony) tree.
Carrier part no doubt from eating.
Frame without the beetle, in good condition.

Price 6000 EUR.

There's really bad at math, you should still add 2 to 17 (and maybe 3)

Very much a step pattern on the frame is constant for the XVII century. I have two Swedish wooden frame with a similar figure carving. True, the fine for the graphics. They inserted an engraving 1911 and 1918, and did not seem to have never taken out. Especially boring step alternation of bumps - in exactly one inch, while the other - 3 /4'. Machine work. Correction: lacquer there and not a penny! The whole front part - derevyaha! As iron, can not even imagine how out of it at all that it can be done. Luck is not even covered, just so polished frame. A technology "quick cutter" is just invented in Holland, which in fact distinguishes them frame this typical pattern.
