Ian Bennett (Ian Bennett), an expert on textiles small British auction house Netherhampton Salerooms, found two carpet woven by the artist Francis Bacon in 1929. According to the newspaper The Times, still critics knew about the existence of three carpet Bacon, one of which is stored in the London Victoria and Albert Museum.

In 2008, two of his triptych sold for 51,7 and 82,2 million dollars.
