Constantine, to my great regret (or fortunately) - I am new to the art market, I am a person of IT. Therefore, specific names of artists or gallery name I will not mention.
The problem with fundamentally different views on the price and value of the paintings is very characteristic of our art market (according to the discussions in the forum, which I now learn), and without thinking you can try to scroll through one of two options (assuming that your taste is quite objective, as well as and orientation to the realities of the market and pricing):
- Does not work with "inadequate", seriously invest in finding the right artists /gallery owners. It will be more difficult, but in the long run is much more effective to work with in that it gives the market here and now.
- Set a number of works with an inadequate indicator of price /performance and see the result. If these works are "stuck" on the site, while the rest are sold well - one more visit to the "disproportionate" to the numbers on their hands. Either they will think, or in their furnace. There is another option - most of these unrealistic price tags are gone, well, it's just a dream :-) artists, gallery owners, and your gallery will be a very good broth.

In front of me examples (including friends) that are consistently 10 consecutive years invested in your business or career, and today's results are quite impressive. Even more impressive achievements of those who began to batter the same topic 15 years ago ...
