Oleg Tails ( b. 1972) - a self-taught artist . At school, he drew caricatures of teachers and classmates, at age 17, stunned landscapes Shishkin, decided to become like him. "How Shishkin " did not work: first with the path of realism knocked garde , then aktsionist of the St. Petersburg Association "New Stupid " distinguished themselves in the 90 years of their shares absurdist sense. " Stupid " Tails , in the end, left - the collective creativity of the individual rather primitive .

He served in the Northern Fleet , where he first became acquainted with the art of the avant-garde in naval art studio . Since mid- November 1996 to early January 1997 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts preparatory courses (Faculty of Architecture) , and after that , becoming a professional , continued his creative work independently.
