At the auction «Impressionist, Modern & Surrealist Art » February 5, 2014 in London painting by Camille Pissarro « Boulevard Montmartre , Spring morning » 1897 was sold for a record for the artist 19.9 million GBP (32.1 million USD).
This work comes from the collection of the Jewish industrialist Max Zilberberg /Max Silberberg, who died in the concentration camp Auschwitz.
Landscape Pissarro was seized from him by the Nazis , and later was resold several times and ended up in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem , whose members voluntarily returned painting Zilberberg heirs in 2000.
