Julia Brazol-Leontiev (Ukrainian Yulia Миколаївна Brazol-Леонтьєва) - Russia's painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Born in 1856 in the city Lebedin.

She graduated from the Kharkov Institute of noble maidens, where she was a student of the artist Evdokimov Ignatievitch Voloshinova. She continued her training in workshops by Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky had known in Feodosia, studied sculpture in Mark Matveye Antokolsky and Vladimir Aleksandrovich Beklemisheva and studied with professors Tsurshrassena in Leipzig and Monteverdi in Italy. She was a member of the First Lady's artistic circle.

The range of creative research has been extremely broad: studied painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative arts. One of the founders of the Kharkov school of landscape.

In the best works of Julia Brazol visible learned Evdokimov Ignatievitch Voloshinova and Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky. Paintings "Sea", "Coast of the Crimea", "On the shore of Lake attract skilful combination of rich green and brown tones, the image of sensation of air, which envelops and enlivens the landscape. In these works, of course, seen the influence of the creative manner of Representatives "Barbizon" period of the Kharkov school landscape.

Portfolio Julia Brazol exhibited in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kharkov. Permanent exhibitions held in the First ladies artistic circle. At each exhibition, she represented 5-10 works, sometimes in different techniques. In August 1918 it held a personal exhibition in Lebedin, indoor gymnasium.

She died in 1919.
