WHICH WAY THE ART SHOULD BE GOING?

"Is today the modern Belarusian fine arts actually or not? Left it in the last century or not?
What is actually today? What is an actual art and what a contemporary?
Which art will remain in history and which will sink into oblivion? "

The search for "unity of views", "unanimity", and “high road" - is typical for the twentieth century.
Unfortunately, today the society is convinced that under the category of the "art" should approach only one "direction" or "style".
...And everything else that does not fit in the "Procrustean bed" of the style... is not modern…not actual... Is not fashionable...
This is a problem not only Belarusian...
Now, this is a problem worldwide...
The problem of "unity" and "single truth" becomes particularly actually just in the XXI century...
Becomes just now, when the world is going to unite...
Whether we like it or not, the world is going for "globalism"...
But a "global" and "whole" by definition, consists from a single, different, specific parts...
And here as in the living body, any part of it is important...
It is impossible to live without the cells of liver, heart, brain...
If brain cells are ordered to cells of the heart: "Be like me; do as I am! "- the body will die. ...
The whole will not take place!...
And just as for the life of the body is necessary and the sweet and the bitter stuff; and the sour and salty... And it need for much more other things…
Likewise to society for his health, in the different moments of life is the need for emotion both joy and sorrow... Is the need as for seriousness and solemnity so for lightness of humor.
...Is the need how for the energy, vitality but and for silence and rest.
Is needed as for immersion in the material life but and the abstracting from it...
For the health of society the art must be of all sorts...
And the painter must be himself but not someone else...
No need to focus on what others are doing in New York, London, Paris or Moscow...
Only the heart can tell us the right way...
And it better would define by time...
As for the history it is important not only the "best" but and all colors and all shades. ...
