Alexander Zadorin
Painter, sculptor, ceramist, Honored Artist of Russia (1998). Born in the evacuation in 1941 in Kemerovo. Graduate School of the Art Institute in im.Iogansona Repin. In 1969 he graduated from LVHPU im.Muhinoy, studied at the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the prof. V.S.Vasilkovskogo and prof. V.F.Markova. Member of the Union of Artists in 1973. A member of the famous St. Petersburg group of ceramists - "One song," from 1977 to 1986. Member of the Association "St. Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art" (SAVE). He was awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts (1998). Participant of numerous Russian exhibitions since 1964. Participated in many international art programs, exhibitions, symposiums and contests. He died after a long illness in October 2006. Alexander Zadorin received a classical art education: graduate of the Leningrad SKHSH im.B. Johanson, successfully completed the Department of Ceramics and Glass SPGHPA them. B. Stieglitz (former Mukhina Academy). As a student he participated in exhibitions together with their teachers Egoshin G., Z. Arshakuni, V. Vateninym. The range of the artist's broad, paid special attention to Zadorin decorative sculptural forms of the ceramic layer.
