Exhibition Of Oleg Shumova

January 17, 2014 in Kovrov historical-memorial Museum (Vladimir region) has opened a personal exhibition of the artist Oleg V. Shumova (genus.1947), which presents works of recent years. This is the third solo exhibition of the artist. In 1973 he graduated from the Abramtsevo art-industrial school specialty "art-metal". In 1985-1998, he worked as an artist-designer of the theatre. The winner of the Kovrov city award "La Boheme" for the year 2000. Lives and creative works in the village Hall, Kameshkovo the most attractiv place, the Vladimir region.
Creativity O. C. Shumova diverse in styles and techniques is painting and graphics, and wood carvings, and jewelry. The choice of technique and style is always dictated posed by the artist creative task. Realistic natural landscapes of the artist though numerous, but do not occupy the chief place in his work. The most valuable and important part of his art creativity are the landscapes of imagination, reflecting his thoughts about life, about the future, about the fate of Earth and humanity. Living alone in rural areas and little communicating with colleagues, O. C. Noise, like a wise Zen Buddhist monk, living in a hut somewhere in the remote mountains and alone attaining the truth, reflects on the fate of the world and in their future paintings tries to warn people against the dangers of an ambiguous future. Many of his paintings are based on mythology ("Noah's ark"), for a fantastic utopias (like "the Martian Chronicles" by R. Bradbury), they are anxious and warn against incorrect ways of civilization. Along with these works are paintings, emitting a quiet light of peace, tranquility and beauty ("Venice").
