New Non-Burliuk with Bulgaria
New fake on Ibee with Bulgaria. And how beautiful it sounds!
Oil on heavy cardboard, about 22.5 by 32 centimeters. A somewhat glossy surface and a hair or two stuck in it .. This piece is a part of an entire collection to be sold in eBay this season, part of more than 200 pieces that were on exhibit in City State Art Gallery in the city of Vraca till 1989, then communists gave up power and they were returned to the original owners (as of before 1944) or heirs of owners, and then sold to me in the 1990s. No official documentation exists or is possible to be issued in this country where virtually noone knows any meaning for art other than the local weird stressing waste of paint portraits by photo (!), Painters being educated by some postcommunist heads that categorize some major western art as "deviational splashes of paint by troubled schizophrenic minds, having no purpose or meaning whatsoever". <- Art & Science magazine exerpt. Imagine where the science is. No COA, and not a reproduction. An old invoice goes with the painting and is not an authentication document, just a receipt from the 1940s for the transfer of the painting to some previous owner. The winner surely gets the receipt with the painting in original. |

Importantly - the artist throughout the picture and did not understand - the shadows warm or cold. For the artist, using modern system (heat-cold) painting - this is .... vaabsche .... Person - a common, no individuality. Expression of evil, lip sticks out. This artist has asked - "Show Freddy Krueger? In the initial writing of the shoulder was at the head level. Ie torso was almost half as much. My feet did not seem to be overwritten. Wow Unknown artist proportions. Eye, however. (Err in figure everyone can, but you have already started to write, so I had to paint). Above the left clavicle - a complete mess as a drawing, and the shadows (blue, green, brown. Disco). And not only the audience is unclear, but the author. Blue circles on the wall - what's this? It's not drawing on the wallpaper. Of course, the artist has the right in its own way to see the world, but this kind of realism. Highlights are written in dingy color schemes and shadows - a pure yellow (belly) and green-blue. This is where you can learn to interfere with paint? But in general can and Falk. Little did that man was in his soul. Maybe it was an attempt to permanent revolution in art.

Non-Burliuk
A new forgery of the signature Burliuk from Sofia, Bulgaria.
David Davidovich Burliuk (July 21, 1882 - January 15, 1967) was a Ukrainian avant-garde artist (Futurist, Neo-Primitivist), book illustrator, publicist, and author associated with Russian Futurism. Oil on canvas. Size is 66 by 51 centimeters. Not a copy or reproduction. Painting is very old. Signed: Burliuk /lower right. Cracks are present all around, generally good condition. It is not excluded that this picture, like many others, will get on the provincial auctions (often in the U.S.) and will be sold, resold. The picture will remain the same, and the names of auctions will change. |
