in the old wing in Poland found 300 pictures

In the Polish city of Szczecin in the old wing was found a collection of 300 paintings. According to The Daily Telegraph, in a two-story building of paintings were works of Renaissance art, the oldest painting dates from the 1532 year.

The paintings were found in the two-story stone building, situated in the garden 92-year-old local resident, in the past worked as a bricklayer. Some of them were lying on the floor among the debris and mud, and many paintings are damaged and are in very poor condition. At the moment the police are trying to figure out how these pictures came to the house of a mason. In addition, work is underway to identify the authors.

Police assume that the owner of the house fence works of art, but find it impossible to have a former bricklayer, as he suffered several strokes and does not talk. According to another theory, in the old house could live art dealer, who disappeared during the Second World War, leaving behind a collection of pictures.

According to another version, a mason found a collection of paintings, hidden by the Germans, who did not take her until the end of the war. Being a connoisseur of art, he decided to hide the pictures and they do not show anyone.

Among the paintings that had lain in a wing of more than 60 years, found the Polish artist Josef lithograph by Tchaikovsky, was considered lost. The newspaper said the total value of works of art valued at several million euros, the picture sent to the iconic Museum in Szczecin.
