Just one year after graduation, in 1955 Horenyan became a member of the Artists Union. Orders, both public and private has been set, everyday problems of youth are not too hard, lacking the energy and creativity and on the promenade with the boyars scale.
That all changed in the early 70's when Horenyan created a new family with his wife Anahit, I bought a tiny cottage in Ashtarak and permanently moved there. It is strange that on the list Suren Sarkisovich Safarian, was People's Artists of Armenia, Chairman of Union of Artists 1969-1985. In my opinion deserves attention.
I posted an article (published in 2003) in his diary. Here is a snippet.
After returning home and taking off his coat, Safarian in 1946 entered the Art Institute, draws fiercely, making up for lost time, because of what fellow students gave him the nickname, which says more about him other awards: "Class Surik. Already on graduation in 1952 he was held a professional - he began teaching drawing at Art College. F. Terlemezyan, then - in the Art Theater Institute, which since 1976 headed the Department of the figure.

From Suren Sarkisovich Safaryan got curious.
I knew him he was a likeable man, very polite, even though the Soviet view - was a fairly high-ranking officials in the arts.
Several years ago, the Academy of specialty painting finished by his grandson and namesake of the full. Just another middle name - Suren Armenovich Safarian, if Google only collect your name, it will just stuff (and there are many) about it, he wrote a rather avant-garde spirit. Married, too, for our students - it is an art critic.
But to my surprise I found on the network yet another namesake - Suren N. Safarian, his work was sold at one of the auctions - sketch of the head (1959), was written about him that he was "well-known Russian artist." It can be found here online (for subscribers). So there are three artist Suren Safarian. I should add that this name and this name in Armenia is not unique, but not very common, especially - a surname.
