    Vladimir Tatlin Evgrafovich (1885-1953) - a key figure in Russian avant-garde, "inventor" of new forms of art, one of the founders of constructivism. His name is associated with the most daring and fantastic experiments in the Russian art of the twentieth century, bringing together the plastic and spatial forms, artistic and utilitarian properties of materials, which gave the opportunity to completely destroy the illusion of pictorial plane and bring it to a real three-dimensional space.

    "Endless Tatlin Bowl Great, do not drink, not only to him - the same generation." These words draw art Punina N. V. Tatlin in the future, emphasizing the special capacity to self-development ideas and forms of living in nature and in art.

    Tatlin - one of the most mythic artists of the twentieth century. The fate of his legacy is dramatic. Almost all of his experimental works have been lost and we know from photographs and descriptions of their contemporaries. Survived only two genuine kontrrelefa and one of the models Letatlin. That is why the study of creativity Tatlin in recent decades, both in Russia and abroad is closely related to the problem of reconstruction of his works.

    The objective of this exhibition - the main show, though a few works of Tatlin period of its innovative search and experimentation. The exhibition includes approximately sixty works by the artist 1900 - 1920 from the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, the State Central Theatre Museum, AA Bakhrushin and private collections in Moscow. This is a pictorial, graphic and theatrical works, as well as reconstruction of the most important works of Tatlin's not surviving.

    Moving towards a synthesis of forms in space, Vladimir Tatlin worked for the theater. The exhibition will feature lists of his early sketches, performed for staging the play "The King and his Unruly Maksimyan son Adolf" (1911), as well as a large series of theatrical charts for N. Glinka's opera "Life for the Tsar" (1913). Innovative performance "Zangezi" on the product Khlebnikov, whom Vladimir Tatlin tied friendship, their language and form of anticipated modern theater.
