Painter. Born in Novorossiysk in 1966, 1982 and lives and works in Leningrad. From 1984 participates in exhibitions of the group "New artists". In 1987, together with F. Romualdom created a school "Engineers of the arts. In 1987 creates creative group "North pole", the field of activity chosen film and animation. In parallel theoretical developments related to the notion of reality and the pursuit of art passed through a conscious impulses. Deals with problems transcoding audio-visual information, the development of "conscious" of the works, their dynamics and the use for therapeutic purposes.

Inal Savchenkov - one of the brightest representatives of the Leningrad school of neo-expressionism that emerged in the early 1980-ies around the group "New artists". The spontaneity of the artistic gesture, romanticizing unconscious motivations of creativity, the mythologization of the urban environment - all these features are characteristic of neo-expressionism characteristic of I. Savchenkova. In the early 1980's he created a series of paintings made in the style of urban graffiti, where the "protagonists" are the large-headed anthropomorphic creatures resembling sinister characters from comics, but there are also peaceful piggies, ground beetles and brontosauruses. The first collector I. Savchenkova became the organizer of the group "New artists Timur Novikov, literally saved his early works, and handed them over time in the contemporary art Department of the Russian Museum. From 1984 Inal actively participates in exhibitions, with the beginning of perestroika, his work embodies the new Soviet art and shown in major museums of contemporary art. Since 1986 I. Savchenkov, in addition to painting, is engaged in film and animation.
