Big woman. Hell Breedveld "Man must live with a song on his lips, a glass in his hand, a bird in the blue sky, with a cheerful accordion, and so that the wind always fill the sails of his ships!". Ada Breedveld (Ada Breedveld) is a Dutch artist from Amsterdam, with a distinctive style whose source is the mentality of the artist. Born and raised in 1944, in Dordrecht. She has her own Studio in Amsterdam. Her workshop is the source of variegated thread works of art - paintings, prints, bronzes, etchings in the wide world. Ada self - taught. Never attended the Academy or any other art school. She paints for many years, for as long as can remember. In 1959, the school report Second Christian school, classroom teacher Miss Lolkema wrote: "Hell is not trying to follow the instructions of the teacher during the lesson". But Hell no became subordinate to adults and continued on his way. From a very early age she realized that she wants to be a painter, and became it. Helped her in this school? No, probably not. Ada didn't like school, life itself was her University. Ada began to exhibit in Rotterdam in the 70s and immediately received an honorary prize. But she had to work hard to "keep my head above water", so Hell a few years was a postman to earn a living. At the time, she was fascinated by surrealism - art movement, which argued that the visible reality and our imagination (dreams), should not be beyond us, but also a benchmark for art, too. Gradually, she found her own style and theme, which are present in all her pictures - big woman. |
