those who knew the collector in Alexandra Zavolokin, and there were not too many among a wide circle of his acquaintances, poorly represents the real extent of his hobbies. Now, two years after the sudden departure A. Zavolokin of life, our gallery is the audience of approximately 120 works of graphic art from the collection of Alexandra and Alexandra Zavolokin. The idea of the exhibition is to show the handwriting of the collector, his taste and sense of time. Before the eyes of the spectators appear drawings, sketches of sets and costumes, bookplates and book illustrations mainly 1920-1930-ies Lev Bruni, Basil Vatagina Alexander Vedernikov, Vera Ermolaeva, Vladimir Konashevych, Nicholas Kupreyanova, Boris Kustodiev, Alexander Labasa, Vladimir Lebedev, Dmitry Mitrokhin, Alexei Pakhomov, Alexandra Platunovoy, Vera Pestel, Ivan Puni, Sergei Romanovich, Mikhail Sokolov, Pavel Sokolov-rock, Antonina Sofronova, Faith Tabor, Artur Fonvizin, Alexander Shevchenko, Vasyl Shukhayev and other artists.
"Collision with any of this collection is always the joy and wonder of discovery, first feature, and then the human race. In selecting works for the exhibition, we were stunned by the scale of the graphic collection Zavolokin. In essence, the complete publication of works could act as a good guide to the history of Russian and Soviet graphic. From a large collection of A. & A. Zavolokin we have identified the part, the limited 1900-1930-mi for years as the most interesting and challenging for collecting ... Original collector, choosing from the surrounding world that seems to him a valuable and present, create it through, for stroke, in the image, and an exhibition of his collection forms in the minds of the audience of his way to artistic comprehension of the world ", - Natalia Kournikova, art director of the gallery" Our artists, curator of the exhibition.
By the opening of the exhibition prepared by the directory in which published essays, memoirs of Alexander Zavolokin his colleagues and friends of Michael Shvydkoy, Alexandra Golitsyn, Leonid Tishkov, Zoe Kirnoze, Stephen Kutur and others.

And in the theater Yuri Leonidovich is not only brilliantly creates images and scenery, bringing them to the surface with its picturesque completeness, but also works on projects of renovation of interior permanent theater (now - the City of Voronezh Winter theater). The most successful Russian artist who has achieved recognition in the West, Yuri Kuper has to his credit over 50 solo exhibitions in prestigious galleries around the world.
Claude Bernard Gallery in New York and Paris, the gallery, Jan-Cruz-Diteshaym in Geneva, Boles Sorokko Gallery in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris and London, the gallery Joshi in New York State Museum Fine Arts AS Pushkin Museum of Toulon, the Center for Fine Arts Sensberi in Norwich, Bukinri l'institut de Paris, museums Kiorau, Shikaraba, Ueno-no-mori and Shokoku-no-mori in Japan - the only part of their list.
However, who is Yuri Kuper, connoisseurs of art to tell is not necessary. It is well known for its magnificent "silver" work with old hammers, spatulas, trunks, his tulips and apples.
"Cooper prefers to draw the old objects, which are covered with the patina of time, as if worn out and faded, but as autumn leaves, as the fading glow purchased.
The more they marked time, the more they become timeless for Cooper, that is, the clearer their enduring aesthetic value ...
And if Cooper's subjects are symbols in themselves and in the broader sense of the symbols of the artist, his still lifes symbolize the loneliness and alienation of the artist in this world alone, gave him his own creative gift. "

On this chair you want to sit down. Seems to better convey the texture of tissue is impossible. And just a minute you know - a real velvet.
"There are so close-seed: Look at this apple, for what it is, and I want to feel the naturalness of this fabric here. So I just bought a new velvet and its glaze, soiled," - says Yuri Kuper, artist.
Yuri Kuper draws on metal, glass, makes collages. Even in academic painting adds a touch - a piece of paper. Love for old things, says the artist, he has inherited - his grandfather was the rag pickers. Its objects are simple, but always alone - paint brush, an apple, tulip, window. And they all seemed covered in cobwebs of time.
"Cooper is a visiting card of his love for the aging of the world, love for the aging of materials, admiring this natural aging" - explains Natalia Kournikova, gallery director, "Our artists.
He not only paints a picture, but also creates a theatrical scenery, costumes and jewelry. Small granary castle, burnt match, stained brush - it's brooches and pendants from Cooper. But - a unique edition of Pushkin's Mozart and Salieri. " Circulation of 150 copies. Illustrations - George Cooper.
"This book is very interesting author's approach to illustration, because it is purely associative, it is absolutely not a narrative, but the subjects of his lithographs inevitably plunge you into the world of books", - said Natalia Kournikova.
