Prices on the Ukrainian Socialist Realism Boxed overstatement, say couple trio of rich politicians in one day want to invest in the domestic arts, but had forgotten that Kotsok and Glushchenko at all will not, and that's provoked great excitement inside.
And what today is Tiberius Silvashy?

Despite where. I think every gallery in Kiev have their individual policies regarding Silvashy. Previously seen at the gallery "Triptych" for 5400, approximately 30h140, but it is already history.

Relying only on the Ukrainian market is short-sighted. The constant struggle for power elites do not promote the growth of the art market.
I remember how we had hoped to Kiev, even successfully sold several works in the gallery "Lada" (if you remember this, at Gorodetsky). And then there was the Orange Revolution, and we realized that Ukraine's hopes prematurely.
If an artist known only in their country and not, God forbid it happen that people will not to art, then he will come on hard times. And in such a situation, to acquaint the audience in other countries with the creativity is the most thankless job.

---- Does not help, although I assure you the fight of the most "elite" for the power still will not soon be over, and the market will still grow. All these years and now in Ukraine, he kept on individual enthusiasts. For example today I V. Pinchuk, as politics is concerned with is not, and look what he does for art - a person buys Hirst, Gursky and displays them at home. Is not this an act? We have created a prize for young artists (Solovyov, a member of the jury)

"What happened so that people will not to art, then he will come hard times."

--- Choosing Distribution Model, right now people are not to art, pay attention to the policy of the Ministry of Culture, the teaching of togog or any other subject in art uch. Head. at the same museums, art critical editions (this is still one folk. - plates, rushnyky, wooden churches etc.)

In Lviv still suschevstvuyut academics, Salonika and nesoglastnye with artists vnesalona. As in the old days, there is a public exposition halls, which are exposed only to the members "Spilka," because people there are always enough (I have about the visitors) and komerchesskie galleries, each with their own view of the Lviv Art - Gallery will name "Dziga", "Green Kanapa "," Museum of ideas. " As art, it still serves as a separate caste of Lviv artists. For me always suschevstvovali two notions of artistic life in the city, which I can not unify into one - Lviv and Lviv school of painters. Recently held the first in Ukraine Festival of Contemporary Art (performens, installation, video art) Tyzhden actual mystetstva, one of the organizers of Paul Gudimov
