It is not clear who the author of this misanthropic comments ... Well, okay, I also have the beautiful words from the discharge "from the bulldozer":
Where is the Life we have lost in living?
Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information? "

Good day, arrived ...
This is my favorite Tex-introduction to the beloved "Hero of our time.
Remember:
In all the book's preface is the first and yet the last thing;
It explains the purpose or works, or justification, and response to
criticism. But usually the readers do not care a moral purpose and to
journal attacks, and because they do not read the preface. A pity that this is so,
especially for us. Our audience is so young and naive, that does not understand
fable, if in the end it finds on the moralizing. She guesses the joke, not
sense of irony, it is simply badly brought up.
It still does not know that
decent society and a decent book is a clear abuse can not take place;
that modern education has invented a weapon sharper, almost invisible
yet deadly, which, under the clothing of flattery, causing an irresistible
and sure hit. Our audience is similar to the provincial who, overhearing
conversation between two diplomats belonging to hostile courts, would remain
sure that each of them is deceiving his government in favor of mutual
tender friendship.
(c)
I drew up.
Once upon a time knew by heart ... Ah ...

But your text I do not understand.
- No, Petya, I can not. Foreign languages I do not know. (c)

Be as objective, gentlemen!
Of course, squandered.
You know how to spend money abroad commissioners sent there?

But it is not important.

Amount received for all works of art, is insignificant in scale, Soviet foreign trade.

Taking into account that paid for them are quite funny, below market prices.

Even now, when sky-high prices at the pictures, these pictures are unlikely to cost more than $ 2 billion.

And it is in comparison with the export of oil, gas and so forth.?

And what ever was and is part of their "mysterious and very clever" meaning? Pride, hatred, envy and a lot of other vices, and above all (this is my personal opinion) their meaning-Satanism.

She is also there, in the bouquet, as the same without her. That Satan comes in the form of an angel of light (the slogan of liberty, equality, and a bright future and so on) but in fact bloody slavery, immorality, cynicism, and so forth - a long list I think are therefore clear.

Political.
Gulbenkian was actually a Soviet agent.

Mallon, who were selling was a major figure in the U.S., who was a Soviet agent of influence and pushed the law of MFN to the Soviet Union to trade with the United States, which was more expensive than any money.

By the way, pictures, EMNIP, sold until 1940.

About Mallon was written in Ogonyok 18 years ago, and he served Soviet interests.

He sold a few paintings at a price cheaper than it was in the market - that he acted in the Soviet interest.
And he was a collector, such as U.S. Secretary of State.
