preservation.
Z Field (1796-1846) - a brilliant critic,
Novelist, playwright, poet, journalist, historian. Born in a family of merchants.
In 1820 - 1924gg. publishes his works in various leading
journals in 1822. awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy.
In 1825 - 1834gg. publishes its own magazine "Moscow Telegraph"
which, according to Belinsky, "was decidedly the best magazine in the
Russia from the beginning of journalism. "Field has created a series of articles on
the works of Russian writers Derzhavin, Zhukovsky, Pushkin, etc.
joined them later in the book "Essays on Russian Literature" (1839).
Field has devoted many articles and foreign literature. After
Closing of "Moscow Telegraph" (1834) Field cooperating
"Moscow Observer", "Library for Reading", many converts,
published a collection of his stories, "The dreams and life", wrote the novel "
Abbaddonna "(1834). Field initiated the" Picturesque
Review "- the first Russian illustrated magazine (1835 - 1837).
