Good day!
Let me turn to the next question. Why is contemporary art so poorly represented by the so-called "genre" (ie the image of scenes of everyday life)? The impression that thrive all the other genres, but somehow it is almost non-existent. <! - ~ 2 ~ -> What are the causes of this "art of discrimination"? On this painting was not in demand? .. I even sometimes think, that I would be an artist (alas, do not know how to draw) would depict something, and this is, for example, a family quarrel or a doctor appointment, or those cold mornings at the bus stop ... Or maybe I'm just poorly informed? I would be very grateful if you post any interesting contemporary artists, "specializing" in the scenes of everyday life. Interest as foreign artists, as well as Russian. And as a "normal" realism and with a touch of the grotesque. I, by the way, really like Basil Shulzhenko - artist, in my opinion, absolutely wonderful, true to the traditions of Adrian Brouwer and Ostade. More like LVM ... Thanks in advance for your answers and information! Sincerely, M. |
