Sketch does not resemble even the pseudo- Cow which is still successfully sold in the market as genuine, but no relation to him has allegedly signed with true son. Not to mention the original Korovin , I think goes to the exhibition in Russian, all doubts will disappear instantly. Not its composition , the manner of painting, color and size.

Totally agree on the account of the strokes, rather clumsily made. This summer I had the good fortune " in hands " one of the Parisian papers Korovin and the picture is not really been too so the museum , but the difference is huge.

Ok, I will agree that this sketch was done not as Korovin painted his masterpiecies. The sketch seems to grey for Korovin's palette. I haven't seen Korovin's early sketches to compare, so it was a small hope

It's a pity had not seen this topic.
I , as usual, not the blame shall explain ,
but about quality .
Painting is very strong.
Quite Korovinskoye quality.
Each swab - at the place .
Each swab - simulates the shape of the landscape.
There is no doubt and timidity in the painting - because it worked for the master.
Composition I personally really like it.
