Today, May 21, at the Museum of Modern Art opened PERMM the greatest exhibition of Ukrainian art in the history of Russia - "Yakscho" ("If"). The exhibition presents works created after the "orange revolution" and reflecting the era Ukrainian freemen - Time disadvantaged, but interesting.

"Yakscho" consists of five parts. Ground floor Perm Museum is divided into thematic units. The "Maidan" demonstrate the skills of young Ukrainians, for whom the "orange revolution" in 2005 was a decisive event. Alchemists in the south have a secret blend of these components and make them visual bomb. Of course, one reason for such freedom is lack of development of institutions, ie a situation where the artists do not have to share the prize, museums and increase their status through the right place and right time.

The first draft of the Perm Museum - Exhibition "The Russian poor" has served many decorating parallel program third Moscow Biennale, even competing with the exceptional power project, Jean-Hubert Martin. There is a feeling that "Yakscho" could become a hit Biennale number four. But so far no plans to carry sponsors exhibition in Moscow.

The auction was presented 10 works of Ukrainian authors. Among them: the works of Viktor Sidorenko, Oleg Tistol (separately, as well as the project Mykola Matsenko - "Nazprom"), Roman Minin, sculptor Nazar Bilyk, Oksana Mas, Alexander They, Oleg Kulik, Pavel Makov and Boris Mikhailov.

"Auction for Ukrainians went very well, which cannot be said about the Russian artists. Just sold lot 33 of 70 presents, 9 of which are Ukrainian. For the first time at auction in London Ukrainian artists take almost a third of all sales," says co-owner of the auction house "Golden Section" Mikhail Vasilenko.

The most lively auction was conducted for the work of Oleg Tistol "Caucasus" - when the assessed value of 5-7 thousand pounds, the lot was sold for 15 thousand pounds. This work two years ago was sold at Kiev auction AD "Golden ratio" for $ 5,500, notes Mikhail Vasilenko. "Our authors continue to gain the attention of European and domestic collectors. On the other hand, has deteriorated auctions of Russian art. Total sales for all lots was 1,104,875 pounds, of which the share of Ukrainian operations accounted for 82 thousand pounds.
