Burning Bush - 1. Burning but not burning bush in which God appeared to Moses, grazing sheep in the desert near Mount Horeb (Exodus 3.2). 2. In general, this theme is reflected in many liturgical texts. Legend, telling about the wonders of perfect icon, failed to preserve the history of its acquisition, in Russian icon painting, she is known since the middle of the XVI century.
