Unsolicited, but promised Hopper

Washington White House lent two paintings of Edward Hopper collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art - now they will decorate the Oval Office , which operates the U.S. president. As the press service of the president , this picture " Cobb Barn " and " Strong Cobb House " written in 1930-1933 years on Cape Cod , where in the early 1930s, Hopper and his wife rented a cottage every summer . Hopper's work will be placed on the south- east wall , and , as stated in a press release , " will make a wider coverage of American Art , presented in the Oval Office ."
