During the sluggish repair workshop identified three of the canvas. This thing is pretty rare, since almost no Kocheyshvili studied oil painting on canvas. Once in the mid-1960s, the artist created his own recognizable style in the art coated paper /ink /brush Kocheyshvili began to translate their discoveries and findings in the painting. is one of the first papers in Boris Kocheyshvili technique canvas /oil. It is hard to call this thing a monochrome "painting." By and large, it is almost exact repetition of graphic compositions of "classical" Kocheyshvili. Such works in the art coated paper /ink /brush in the late 1960s and early 1970s. was created quite a lot. Most of these sheets are now in frequent meetings and at museums in Russia (in particular, in the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery) and abroad (Museum Ludwig in Germany).

The artist as if trying to secure a new, more "solid" material just found and have proved to be the word in art.

Publish a selection of fine early graphic works by Boris Kocheyshvili. All these things are "contemporaries" of the canvas - the time of their creation late 60's early 70's. Yet in the technique of paper /ink /brush "special" songs Kocheyshvili - dynamic, subtle, elegant and vibrant look, in my opinion, better. Evanescence the brush along the slippery paper gives them a more natural, whereas in their theatrical nature of the oil begins to seem more ponderous and contrived plots.

On the show, among other works, will be on display 13 graphic works by Boris Kocheyshvili. Judging by the catalog, which I wrote on the forum, in the collection of Arina Kovner represented all the major figures of the domestic arts, worked in the 1970s - 1990s. The exhibition promises to be interesting and very extensive.

The Moscow and Leningrad nonconformist
Art Museum of the City of Berne introduces the vast collection of Arina Kovner, which presents 200 works by 46 artists from 1970 until 2008. The focus is on the works of famous Soviet nonconformists before 1989, as well as the work of a later period. The exhibition will showcase the work of Grisha Bruskin, Anatoly Zverev, Vladimir Nemukhin, Dmitry Prigov, Edward Steinberg, Vladimir Yakovlev, etc. In addition to the already exhibited at the Art Museum of Bern Nonconformists of Moscow, the exhibition can be seen the work of lesser-known Swiss representatives of the Leningrad underground - such as, Sergei Bugaev (Africa) and Timur Novikov, the founder of the New Academy of Fine Arts.

Arina Kovner, whose family comes from Russia, who personally knew and knows many artists collection. The first job she got in 1988 in Moscow at the Studio 50 A Sergey Borisov, which was a meeting place for unofficial artists from all over the Soviet Union. Arina Kovner has been for many years been supporting the spread of Russian culture and in Switzerland in recent years under the "Window" in belonging to it KulturAtelier in Zurich (www.kulturatelier.com).

I must say I have big doubts cause dating works from the collection of Kocheyshvili Kovner. Most of the dates from the year 1974, and the remaining 1984.
