    There is Boris Kocheyshvili whole series of works where the main dominant space: field, forest, road or home - portrayed by intersecting planes that carry primarily rhythm, well, then only hint at the shape of the depicted events. This degree of generalization, but at the same time and careful scrutinizing the mysterious geometry of life, reminds me of the great experiences of Kazimir Malevich - one of the first purified depicts the world to a state formula, or "ideas" thing. Incidentally, this magnetism, based on combining visual sets in a single melting pot of colors and shapes in his time left unforgettable Mark Rothko.
 
    But all this does not mean that I compare Kocheyshvili with Malevich or Rothko. I give my analogy, helps me to decipher the message of the artist, encrypted in the compositions, built on the rhythm and pulse shapes.

Tomorrow, July 9 Tarusa picture gallery opens a personal exhibition of Boris Kocheyshvili.

       If someone does not know, explain what Tarusa - a small town on the bank of the Oka River, where there is a very good art gallery, two-story brick building on Lenin Square, on the side of the cathedral. And as in Tarusa spends a lot of wonderful summer of Moscow artists, such as: Edward Steinberg, Irina Starzhenetskaya, Vatagin (two generations), Bruni, Anna Birshtein and many others, it turns out that in the summer at a local gallery there is an active artistic life with infinite successive exhibitions and opening day.

       From Tarusa Boris Petrovich associates have a long history. For the past 52 years, he occasionally comes here for the summer. In Tarusa landscape has its own, or with the incomparable charm. Scenic loop of the river Oka and Oka at this point spreads are very wide (due to what is becoming too small for swimming), the steep streets of the old (they are smaller, alas) homes, many streets suddenly opens a fantastic panoramic view of the river and the meadows the other side , and in addition, all Tarusa all cut up by deep and wide ravines, filled with birch trees and strawberries. And looking at the paintings of Boris Kocheyshvili, written over the past 10 years, it becomes quite clear that this landscape, one way or another, reflected in the rhythms, and composite constructions of the artist's paintings.

     Even in the winter preparing for this exhibition, Boris made an incredible, beautiful writing 25 new paintings. Overall, the exhibition will be presented 33 works - we have included in the exhibition one thing cataloging "Artist's House," and several works that were on already in Moscow exhibitions. Still, the bulk of the exhibition consists of paintings never before seen by the public, and it's very nice.
