Unfortunately, the creativity of the artist and was not fully realized. The reason here can name a few. This small provincial town where the artist grew up and worked and where the emphasis the state has paid industrial development. Where artists have fought their way to a creative "Olympus" without adequate support of city authorities, but through a strict "sieve" of regional and national censors from the culture. Where preference was given to artists that promote the communist way of life. Those who do not fit into the framework set by party bosses on the culture, often stayed in the shadows. Also a lot of time was spent on various design works for the holidays and anniversaries. Despite all this artist has successfully participated in several national exhibitions of living next to the classics of Ukrainian art, such as NP Glushchenko, VN Kostecki, A. Kotzk, AM Mugs, etc. And then suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, there was a failure of the Presidium of the Board of the Ukrainian SSR in the SH membership in the SC. Interesting for its absurd statement: "The photographs of works do not give a complete picture of the creative artist's face." ... The last decade of the artist's life was marked by a green dragon. " Despite all of life's vicissitudes Leonid Gadi left us a true and sincere work of its time, continuing the best traditions of Russian and Ukrainian landscape painting.
