Collector buys and sells things only from my own taste and desire to build a good Collection. Questions profit from resale do not stand in his first term, because is not his primary, in contrast to the art dealer's income.

All absolutely true, but I think Yevgeny it was a matter that these two concepts are often combined "two in one", ie have a primary income from the sale /purchase and collect /nurture his collection, which is not parted for any money, except in the case of Kotormo you said above.

In my opinion, given the fact that many buyers of art buy things as investment assets, that is, a priori, imply the sale, the boundaries of the concept of "collecting" blurred. So I understand people by dealers who make a turnover of others things. People who purchase the items and keep them or work with them to increase prices (make promotional exhibitions, publish somewhere and so, even if not themselves, but with the help of prof. Participants in those segments of the market) is likely to be known art investors. Clean collectors, for whom things have a self-worth, I have never met.
So clear and precise.
PS: I have a dozen or two things in the collection, which I would like you never want to sell. Asked myself the simple question now - as if surprised the price? Answer - selling. :-)
