Art-lover,

Looked the work of HR Giger, in my opinion nothing to do with Schandorf. I it is difficult to say why did Schandorf like painting. I think we need to learn more about his biography to draw conclusions.
I have yet to refrain.
Thank you for your comment, I think it will be more to continue the discussion.

Veronic,

Veronica I'll start traditionally: I am not an art critic, but I think to myself that something in the know.
First, it's not painting. But not a complete schedule (such as oil paintings by Leonardo or Titian's early example). I can not say that there is innovation, because the niche in which he creates - it's all f traditional arts and academic building of the image. But, moreover, want to be original. Although why he is in the tradition? not clear. But it will not comment on these efforts or criticize. All the achievements thin. work - they are not in the story (content) and in the form (of how). Formal reception beaten 100 times - all those smooth issued fragmented women - it's how many there were! Is not pall? And as a rule talented amateurs is the practice and about this artist can guess that he - a self-taught, is no vice. But what they all the same are they? Well nothing in common as salon, an average hand. Such bulk ... what? insert picture in the address bar, but nothing comes

Frankly I do not understand artists, posing as a defective digital camera

Well, Mona, and the artist is just very interesting to me, although he is not internationally recognized and is not worth millions. I think the camera here at anything like the saloon, the artist showed the mysticism, what is hidden from the eyes, while he was a good draftsman. In the depiction of women's bodies it is not intended to show the beauty, and show feelings.
But, I will please you, most forumchan he does not like it, so here you stand in solidarity.

Veronic, Thank you, Veronica. And where is the button "thanks"??
Try through management somehow insert.
In any case useful to "get" and show the different artists. Because the comparison of one other and with global models - the only way to make sense. Nothing else is not just

And I do not like the deliberate pathos in his works. Вобще pathos in thin. work - is a complicated thing, with him able to manage a fully only in antiquity and the socialist realists. Even the pathos of the Italian Renaissance causes some nausea.

Sorry, I'm not a man, but, in my opinion, people have to like this painting .

I think that much of what is worth millions, in general, not negotiable, because of the absence, in fact, a subject for discussion.
It is worthy of an artist for zhivopisi.Po-lovers like me, heat is not enough.

Hungarian artist Istvan Sandorf (Istvan Sandorfi), one of the known representatives of hyper-realism in contemporary art, was born in Budapest in 1948. His father was the director of the American company IBM in Hungary, but during the communist regime he served five years in Stalin's prisons. The family had to live in isolation in a small village, but during the uprising in 1956, they managed to flee the country, first in Germany and then France. Stephen Small, strongly affected by the violence of the political system, in 12 years was carried away drawing and painting since the art became his main passion at the expense of the school.
First solo exhibition of seventeen Stephen Sandorf held in a small gallery in Paris. After his second exhibition in 1966 he gave up painting and devote himself entirely to painting. The expected family of commercial success was not followed, and Stephen's father sent to study at the School of Fine Arts and the School of Decorative Arts, wishing her son a better fate than the fate of the unknown and starving artist.

Gradually, the artist has gained popularity, and his paintings were sold. In 1973 he had his first major show at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, and later exhibitions were held not only in the cities of France, but also in Germany, Belgium, the United States. In 1994 - 2001 years of painting by István Sandorf exhibited in the best galleries in New York.

Some fifteen years, he created a series of self portraits, which were aggressive and dramatic than earned a mixed reputation. Critics pointed out that he wrote "as a murderer." Fabrics Sandorf steel have a significant success only in 1988, when he left so disturbing vision of the world and began to develop a new technique hyper-realism.

Hyperrealism is based on the aesthetic principles of photorealism, but does not seek to literally copy reality. Detailed objects and scenes in hyperrealism paintings create an illusion of reality, but not such as in surrealism. Giperrealisty create a false reality and a convincing illusion, believing that the image of the painting could well happen in reality.

Despite the new style, Istvan not renounced its internal beliefs, preferred to work at night and every day go to bed later than yesterday. Such own temporary space alienates him from public life. Artist died in December 2007 in Paris, famed as one of the masters of hyper-realism with the world-famous.
