Last summer at these walls, in White Hall, main building, Pushkin Museum. Pushkin, hung masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance - it was the exhibition "From Raphael to Goya" from the collection of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts. Now there are paintings and sculpture of northern Gothic and Renaissance from the private collection belonging to Mikhail Perchenko, collector and owner of an antique gallery. Perhaps the greater honor for a collection of Western art can not be invented - except that show it is also in the Hermitage. The owner of the collection, obviously, understands this: "The event took place only with the help of Irina Antonova," - heartfelt thank the Director, he GMII. She, in turn, encouraged the audience to learn to appreciate the repetition of images of great artists and works created by their students and followers, of what in largely consists exhibition.

Indeed, the "Lamentation of Christ", Hugo van der Hus, whom Albrecht Durer regarded as one of the three great artists of the Netherlands (together with van Eykom and Rogier van der Weyden), known only by its repetition - the exhibition presented almost the earliest copy of the original unpreserved XV century. "Wedding Procession" follower of Pieter Bruegel the Younger, apparently repeating pattern unpreserved chief artist of the family Bruegel - Pieter Brueghel the Elder. Eight small scenes of Christ's Passion, written by an anonymous master of the Upper Rhine region in the first third of the XVI century, had a prototype in the printed schedule (usually the opposite - graphics reproduce paintings), which failed to detect.

In total, the exhibition presents three dozen paintings and more than sixty examples of polychrome wooden sculpture, which experts consider the most valuable part of the meeting.
