Published guide "Le Petit Fyute" Frenchman Pierre Brochet lives in Russia. Here he got the most valuable: his wife, painter Anne, two sons and one of the best collections of modern art of Russia. About the new art in the USSR, he learned from the French magazine in 1989 and after moving to Moscow, he hastened to make some acquaintance with the artists. Getting so absorbed that without modern art, Pierre now can not live. "This is a style of my life, I am proud of - he says. - My work is not connected with the collector's investment, although of course I'm spending. For me more important than relationships with the artists, their support, including the moral. I never spent much money on art, bought when the work of these artists are very few people were interested. But now when I see how much they cost, I feel bad. However, and now Pierre Brochet buys. In his collection of about 350 exhibits, and it collected almost the entire history of modern Russia's art.

Eugene, I do not know where and why you took this story of home accident barman, I have repeatedly been in this house, everything is not so. I'm not a big specialist in furniture and decorative art, but a collection of paintings is one of the most bizarre that I happened to see. It includes dozens of pieces of masterpieces (mostly from the famous collection Chudnovsky, a Chagall, Falk, Pirosmani, Jawlensky, N. Altman, Malevich), the thirty pieces of work are fairly good (Drevin, Sinezubov, V. Lebedev, K. Christmas), about 50 frankly weak work (mainly Socialist Realism) and approximately the same number of fakes of different levels - from Rozanova to Leger. This is something that is in the house, shops hung with different stuff, of no value. I am always amazed at how you can be with a large number of consultants and virtually unlimited resources to create such an Irish stew? The last thing I heard about this collection, which she founded, remortgaged, but who - do not know.

talavira, and it is better to create your own theme in the section artists.
There you will tell about his grandfather, the artist A. N. Yar-Kravchenko. Give his biography, show a number of famous works, list the museums that store their work, etc. And after that we can expose something in the section For Sale. Do not rush you so. |
