Wassily Kandinsky - born 16 (4) December 1866 in Moscow, in a wealthy merchant family. In 1871 the family moved to Odessa, where his father ran a tea factory. Amshey Markovic Nuremberg (1887, Yelisavetgrad - 1979, Moscow) - painter, graphic artist, art critic.

Izrailevich Boris (Ber Srulevich) Anisfeld (October 2 (October 14), 1878, Balti, Bessarabia - December 4, 1973, Waterford (pcs Connecticut), USA) - Russian and American artist, set designer.
