Yesterday in Sochi, the capital of Winter Olympic Games in 2014, a violent storm destroyed the already built structures maritime cargo port, being built in Nizhneimeretinskoy lowlands at the mouth of the river Mzymta. According to preliminary and very conservative estimates of specialists, the damage will amount to tens of millions of rubles. The crew of the diving boat "Nord", which was under construction in the waters of the port, tried to bring his ship into the open sea. However, the "Nord" immediately turned up the keel. Yesterday afternoon the staff search and rescue team of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Center Emergency Ministry managed to pull boat ashore, but the three crew members on board was not (the rescuers were hoping that people are placed in sealed compartments of the bot). Missing sailors searched all day yesterday, but to no avail.

According to Deputy Director General of Transstroy Andrei Streltsov, so catastrophic storms were caused partly by the fact that the builders of the approach of bad weather had not been warned in time. But Sochi rescuers say that on the eve of local emergency services sent out a storm warning across the region and knew about it all.

However, the main cause of the accident, according to experts of the Sochi Research Center of Marine Shore, not six-point storm which broke out near the coast of Sochi in the morning on Dec. 14, but the fact that the port at the mouth of Mzymta built with gross violations.
