In May 2010, sculptor Ilya Shanin completed a working model ( ie models in plasticine , size 185h180h100 cm , designed to enlarge) sculpture " George" . Model clung for a year with great care , since the sculpture was intended to be installed in one of the monasteries of Syria. The model has been agreed with the relevant authorities of the Trinity -Sergius Lavra, and after making small changes ( cvyatogo gaze direction , a gesture of his hand, holding a spear and shield and the image on the other) was approved by the Patriarch.

Unfortunately, the economic crisis and the events in Syria are not allowed to accomplish the project. Was suspended . However , looking at the model, there is a desire to see the work completed : sculpture - cast in bronze in the amount of the working model , or in the growth and installed in the proper place , in Russia .

Looking want to help this project. Whether there are interested
people or organizations ?

And that is why instead of the serpent represented a dragon?
And it is on most tracks with George.
