Vasily Vereshchagin (1842-1904).

At the top of the author's pagination "2." The second sheet of the two (the first was not preserved). Translation: "Moscow, March 10, 1897 Malostivy sir! I sent you a picture of the head of Napoleon I in a fur coat and felt hat.
