Reinhold Berg Genrikhovich
Graphic artist Reinhold Genrikhovich Berg was born the fifth child of a poor peasant family. In 1932, fifteen young men who have shown aptitude for drawing, Berg came to Engels, in the studio for gifted adolescents, Narkompro-se of the Autonomous Republic of the Volga Germans. Directed by studio veteran teacher J. J. Weber.
Yakov has managed to inspire the student conscientious attitude to the craft artist, respect for him, forcing the artist's own stretch and primed canvas, rubbed paint, learn the technology of painting. During one year of employment in Engels studio Reinhold Berg prepared to enter the Saratov Art College and graduated with honors in 1938. Then there was war, serious injury, pedagogical work in one of the orphanages of the Kemerovo region. In 1962, Reinhold Genrihovi-cha, already had considerable experience of participation in the union and republican exhibitions, took part in the Union of Russian Artists. Since 1965, he headed the Kemerovo branch of the Union. Starting his career as a painter, Berg soon detected as a graphic artist. His attention was attracted by the city streets with their fast, noisy life. Going to the streets with a pencil and an album artist expressive, emotionally passed and autumn coolness on the outskirts of the city, and the warmth of a summer day on the river bank, and concern about hurrying along the sidewalks of citizens.

The fall of 1983 Berg came with his exhibition in Saratov. His drawings were shown earlier in Moscow, Novokuznetsk, Kustanai, Kemerovo.
