In 1909-1913 Grigoriev traveled extensively and lived in Europe (Paris, Austria, Scandinavia). In 1913 the artist joined the association "World of Art", at the exhibitions which actively exhibited his work, mostly large series of drawings of Paris "Intimacy", which became the theme Valais undress Paris.
