Sergeyitch, is difficult to tell without seeing the work, but a year ago on "Sovkome" little work on the plywood left over 40 t.ue and medium-sized canvas for 85t.ue.
This is a normal price for akademika.Ya think early works (before 1930), of medium size are more expensive than 100t.ue.Nado watch the origin of work, then you can do vyvody.Dlya me an interesting result, last week (SodBi), a new record sales who found Konstantin Juon "" Kremlin on the eve of the coronation of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. "Price is reached £ 959 650." This benchmark prices for the first Soviet academicians .. -------------------------------------------------- ------ It is interesting to know what the auction house "SOVCOM .. probably they can give a clearer explanation of how the auction went. |

All right. But Konchalovsky, Juon, Saryan, Deineka, Grabar, A. Gerasimov is the first Soviet academicians .. and why their prices can not serve as a guide? "Clearly, the average level of prices, even first names 250-300 t.ue., but it is nice when Russian realist artists go for that kind of money .. even 5-6 years ago about this and not dreaming ..
Added after 2 minutes qwerty, you're right in that early work, there are always more expensive .. |

Eugene, excuse me, early of all these artists in the last message (probably with the exception Gerasimova, clearly inferior to the rest of the class) can not, but are an order of magnitude more expensive than those works which they created, becoming academics. But perhaps Dejneka not lost skill.

Eugene, in my opinion, can not be put in one row Konchalovsky, Juon, Saryan and Deineko, Gerasimova. Yes, it can first and worked in the days of socialist realism, but they did not reckon in this direction. And the prices of their early works can not serve as a guide, because the early works are much more significant from an artistic point of view, than later. A work created during the socialist realism were not much different from the "mass flow". 250-300, and even thousands for works created during the socialist realism is still too much.
