Not a true artist in this case has not yet begun to paint already thought to represent a sell, but after trying to sell faster and more expensive. That in itself, of course, can not be condemned, but probably just a difference in intent and plays a crucial role.

This artist does not think about creating a masterpiece. He was the main thing to be at odds with itself, with its conscience, its soul. The real artist is a middle way. Exhibitions, sales - is secondary. And even more so - the views, criticism of it can hurt, it is useful for beginning artists. As far as I know the artists, critics, whatever it was good or bad, or the artist plunged into a deep depression, or throw him in his own way, forced himself to ask unnecessary questions and making unwanted replies. Answer all the impossible - it leads to emptiness. A true artist must be solid-filled personality.
