Konstantin Fedorovich Bogaevsky was a great master of watercolor, he beautifully painted in pencil, charcoal, ink, pen, sanguine (red pencil-brown). Artist created many watercolors, sketches. Written in one or two hours, they are usually distinguished by ease of execution, freshness and harmony of color. But the main thing in them - compositional perfection, combined with the certainty of the image.
In the exposition (Feodosia - hanzen) gallery presents a number of watercolor sketches KF Bogayevsky. The best among them - "Crimean Landscape", "View of Sudak environs, bay", created in the 30 years, and "Cross Tower" (1927). In the last-named work achieved remarkable expressiveness in the image on the background of bright blue sky and greenish-brown mountains of one of the towers of the famous fortress of Sudak.
