The last edition of this library - released a week ago, a collection of "Pastor", which I published in Cologne from 1992 to 2001 a very small circulation.

Nobody wants to see a huge academic work being done there without interruption. On the other hand, if we talk about the commercial side of our business, over twenty years of restructuring, in Moscow, it was 10.12 galleries and 3 and a half kollektsionera (which I still very much exaggerating), and left. In Berlin the last 10 years, formed 700 galleries! Do we need this comment?

I'm not going to talk about his work, moreover, that the artist Vadim Zakharov had mumbled something about a single process in the arts. I just want to add that in these studies stating that one can not artificially above or in any other manner grossly affect this process, admix their personal ambitions. The internal process of boiling culture, although invisible, but so powerful that it will not tolerate those artificial canals, which to him hacked today from all sides, it will find its own form of existence and description. The basis of this process is unknown, but not with you our strategy and tactics.

In the end I want to apologize to the other artists that took their prize, and assure them that in the next 10 years in Russia, the artist Vadim Zakharov give way to them in the direction of any prizes and awards, but does not yield a millimeter, and in matters of art.
I'm an independent artist and allow myself to think and act, without looking at the existing in our time quota, what to do and how. I was not lobbied, no gallery, no collector, neither Russia nor the West. And I recommend to young and old artists to retain and protect their personal position on the pressures and influences from outside.

I think that today the most acceptable method for those artists who still understands what he was doing in the culture, this technique of "closed doors". Close your shops, do not let anyone, do not expose your thoughts to someone else's stupidity, ignorance and bigotry at the same time learn to feel the real flows in the culture. Not fall into the false, ambitious shovels dug trenches for momentary self-gratification. Collect your potential, do not dump everything on sale.
I speak from a position of strength of the artist. Lately, it seems to have forgotten what it is. I recall that this force still exists.
