Before World War I in Munich a few unrecognized expressionist artists formed a group called the "Blue Riders". Among them were Vasily Kandinsky, David Burliuk, Paul Klee. Very soon, yesterday's innovators have become famous and have themselves become luminaries.

Today, some of those names sounded again in New York. Founded group "New Blue Riders". It includes Anton Kandinsky (great-grandson of Basil), David Noah Burliuk (great-grandson of David Burliuk). Anton Kandinsky, who emigrated in 1998 in the United States from the Ukraine, does not consider himself a follower of his famous relative.
