As a conversation with one major gallerists from Europe I was shown
Figure Lermontov. Then there was shown a book where this picture was reproduced and described the storage location of the picture. As I realized that drawing was stolen from there. Exported to Europe and sold. It is really quite a while, even during the reign of the Communists. What is its fate not know. At that time I was not interested in painting. Now I was curious to know. All known 15 figures of the poet on the spot? Nothing was stolen? |
