Really? And I thought that the price is "important".
andrey207, Please specify what is shown on your finfti and its size.
And how are you with the portraits? There is a sample?

Good job! Bravo

In my opinion, is to rely on custom nature of work. Portraits probably valid.

This "Solovki" 9h14sm A miniature portrait is really relevant (and not only with the image of close people, but also domestic animals), but I do not do them professionally, but I can write. Price-3h3sm 17t rub.

Price 2000 rubles per sq.centimeter - actual portraits of Kramskogo or Serov. And as modern enamel - not sure.

Average price of a miniature portrait on enamel 4h4sm contemporary artist in Russia and abroad is $ 1200. 2008-2009gg
This is at a high artistic performance.

But you can paint a portrait and two days! And give it for 5t rub.

andrey207, if you draw a portrait on the cut grain cultivation, the prices also seem disproportionate in terms of sq.mm. image.
... "Enjoy the modern miniature on enamel - you yourself answered your own question. Or had to assess the skill of the artist?

C portraits in Russia the word God, everything is clear and with the prices and the demand for. I'm more worried about "interest" in other fields and genres in miniature on enamel.

But realism in miniature close to the picture is not that author's work? This is not a meter on the canvas where the artist expresses his emotions easily, this miniature 9h14sm

Of course, the author, no doubt.
But you, as I understand it, and commercial interests concerned. Hence the need visibility of originality in the works, taking into account first of all sizes of things and the conditions of its domestic display. Ignoring the portrait, of course.

Yes, and interested commercial issue.
Pictorial miniature enamel, for today, I can say with confidence, demand. But ... the number of people who buy a thumbnail as artistic value is very small.
