Thus, the Fine Art Fair has ended. Opinion about him a lot. Who said that it was poor things, they say, few major Western galleries little interesting things, who on the contrary, that was a lot of things and it was a very decent salon. Correct to draw a conclusion about the success of the Salon on the number of sold items. Can not say that all stands were abundant in red dots. Rather, even in the most part they are non-existent. The reasons can be found plenty: the weak things, exorbitant prices, but for the majority of galleries from a commercial point of view of Beauty was unsuccessful. Virtually no works were in demand the 19 th century, but the avant-garde and modern art were "in vogue" at the last Salon. Let's order.

On the stand Rudolf Budja Gallery red dots were as many as 6. 4 of them were standing on the works of Warhol (see picture), one of Liechtenstein (moreover, this was offset print litography) and one of modern photography La Chapelle (La Chapell). Purchase of the first four things can be explained by the popularity of Warhol in the world and in Russia, and the investment attractiveness Warhol. Although who needs the apartment Mao's hard to understand, even harder than in the case of Mickey Mouse. Lihteshteyn and La Chapelle also internationally known, so it will charge for services PR. Guess about the value of lots can be sold only on the existing sales statistics, but given the trends of the Salon, the amount may be much higher.

At one of the stands sold quite good Anisfeld - approximately 400 thousand euros. Can not say that the price corresponds to the market, but there were more abnormal in the Salon. From an investment point of view of buying, in my view, unjustified.

Surprisingly, for an amount more than 400 thousand euros was sold to a self-portrait Baranova-Rossini. Also not the best investment. 400 thousand euros is not the biggest result for the Baranoff-Rossine, but work is not of that quality to cost so much money. Normal, its market price - at least two times smaller. At the same stand was sold out a bunch of Goncharova, a lot of work Yankylevsky for 150 thousand euros (you can find it here http://forum.artinvestment.ru/showthread.php?t=695) and screen Helena Ettingen. Screen is very interesting from the standpoint that it is the only of its kind. Therefore the price of 120 thousand euro does not seem so abnormal. I must admit, screen is really beautiful.

For an unknown amount of work was sold to Lawrence Bruni, the son of Lev Bruni. And it is interesting that sold was a large part of the existing work (more than 4 pieces). Amid Rodenovskogo thinker they looked, to say the least, unattractive.

Very nice Andre Derain was on the stand Schmitt. They wanted him 5.5 million euros. Again, the price does not match the market, but work is sooooo beautiful. At the same stand for 1,3 million euros sold Chagall 49 years. The work is beautiful, "shagalistaya" and fully consistent with current sales statistics.

Over 300 thousand dollars was sold to the work of contemporary Chinese artist. Personally, I think, at this stand were more interesting things, but whose opinion it fell exactly on it. Not to say that it is not interesting, it touches, but it is too dark and absolutely no interior.

At one of the stands could meet Russian Avant-Garde: 700 thousand euros asked for Exter, 450 thousand dollars for Rozanov. Prices high, but little confidence in them.

Thanks for the interesting footchet with description, but as you think, why did so few were sold things. By the way, I thought at the Salon was too heavily skewed toward modern art. And really prizes, which the expert jury issued galleries, my general was killed. For example, Salakhova received the award in the category "Achievements".

How do you rate Cooper? And, accordingly, its investment attractiveness? Large paintings cost 60-80 Euro Vol.

I think that his work have investment potential. If the life they are 60-80 thousand euros (although it is too much for him now), then obviously they will grow in value. Undoubtedly, they are attractive for purchase, but the cheaper the better. If the same work at the salon sold for 40-50 thousand dollars, they would have to necessarily buy.

I wonder. These great works Cooper, in principle, liquid?
The fact that the artist interesting - I agree. But some dimensions surprise. At that calculated the artists? At museums and castles?

Artists do not think about where it will hang when they are doing. They create art, and not and interior thing. Liquidity in these works Cooper will definitely be sooooo big problem, although artistically they are very good.
