The picture Makovskogo sold for 147 thousand euros
At the bidding of the auction house in Sweden Stockholms Auktionswerk Konstantin Makovsky's painting "Singer" (1892) was sold for 1 миллион 650 тысяч Swedish kronor (147 thousand euros), reportedly at the auction house on March 12. Among the other works on display at the auction of Russian art in Stockholm, it should be noted collection of drawings of Philip Malyavina, which went under the hammer for SEK 596 thousand (54 thousand euros). Portrait of Emperor Alexander III of artist Nikolai Bogatskogo was bought for 44 thousand Swedish crowns (4 thousand euro) for the residence of Russia's ambassador in Paris. Significant number of lots were sold. Thus, their customers do not find work Deineki Alexander, Oscar Rabin and other artists. In general, prices of sold works were somewhat lower than expected. In addition, the organizers noted that Russia's bidders were passive, yielding the initiative to Western collectors. |

And Rabin sold. For 200 euros, Lot 140 D. Price-what is
But this kind of lithography ... Not sold almost all miniatures, although the earlier demand for them was good. But we must admit - in itself an auction was weak compared with the previous auction of Russian auction house. |

A friend came and told about bidding.
It is interesting to me that he was with Clover start well below the lower estimate. A bargain, but the funniest thing, that when I describe the buyer-Muscovite-I recognized him. Well-known gallerist with a recognizable appearance ... A frequent visitor to the Salon him know. And so, all as bychno. The icons have a string novodelny (roughly novodelny) object. Malyutin-self-portrait, went for nedoroho, for 70 000 kroons. In the hall there were about 30-40, one-third of us. A friend brought his subject, it is important. |

Probably loudly said. I just liked the comparison of this self-portrait 1921, the (the artist had just turned 60 years old) with a self-portrait in 1901 from the Tretyakov Gallery, where he was in a fur coat against the background of the thumbnail panel "Kulikovo field. Young.
