"To be removed from the Soviet Union allowed ..."
June 22 at the Cultural Foundation "Ekaterina" presents " to be removed from the Soviet Union allowed ...." The exhibition presents works from the collection of Moscow's non-conformists and Catherine Vladimir Semenikhin . Their work was not recognized by official authorities , but collectors and diplomats often exported their products abroad. In such cases, the Ministry of Culture put on a picture stamp " Approved for removal from the USSR ." The exhibition includes paintings and graphics by Erik Bulatov , Lydia Masterkova , Oscar Rabin, Mikhail Shvartsman , Alexander Melamid and Vitaly Komar , Ilya Kabakov . In these days of the Fund "Catherine" , an exhibition of Igor Palmin Past Perfect: the photographs he captured the Art Moscow 70 - 80 , artists, musicians and composers.

He was on the show for the press. The main impression is the most powerful post-war exhibition of unofficial art of the ones I have seen in Russia. In terms of presentation and quality of the material with confidence greater than the main collection of the Tretyakov Gallery on the Crimean shaft . Comparable to, perhaps, only Zimmerly Museum ( Norton Dodge collection in half an hour from New York ). Given that all the masterpieces - mostly five or six private collections.

Among the shortcomings :
1. Represented only by Moscow's unofficial artists , Petersburg ( Arefiev, Rukhin , etc.) are not there.
2. Represented only the first row, just checked holder , any unexpected discoveries curator .

Flipped through the catalog - it has about 200 works. But many are not represented in the exhibition. As for " not much" - is a view not on the hour. Some explication of the meter are worth .

Catalog deserves special attention. Precede great articles Yevgeny Barabanov and Alla Rosenfeld. And in the end - the artistic life of the chronology of events since 1956 (compiled by - Alexander Obukhov) .

Was today too. It seems to me less than 100 ( without photos Palmin ). I was almost all filmed . Well could not I am 100 pictures to do. But of course still show mashtabnaya .

Vladimir, show a good and true . but I have not seen it Pyatnitsky Koleichuk ( though the rest of the leaders of the "Movement" was ) And then, if E. Kropiwnicki before , why O. Potapova was not? I think it is just as good. Well, in general of the " first line " at everyone .
The exhibition is excellent, excellent katolog . And as Palmi simply chic , and great location. Thank you gentlemen Semenikhin .
