In the early twentieth century Russian artist Nikolai Tarkhov, living in Paris, was very popular. You will not believe it sold better than most of the Impressionists, including Renoir and Monet. Somehow it went to Mr. Vollar, organizer of the first exhibition of Cezanne, the man who first began to promote impressionism, cubism and then having an exclusive contract for the sale of works by Picasso, and simply the most significant Marchand (gallery owners) of France. Vollar proposed Tarkhova cooperation, but received an unexpected failure, they say, and I sell so well without any intermediaries. More from Tarkhova was not in Paris any exhibition of his work for some reason stopped selling, he soon had to move from Paris to the countryside, where he died in oblivion, existing only in recent years to a pension, paid to him by Alexander Benois. So brokers are sometimes needed.

A small bar about contemporary art. Street scene.

Today I'm going down the street. Ahead of the girl. Well, maybe not quite a girl - age 40, but looks good, slim, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt. At full-back T-shirt inscription:

"Do you not love a bitch, contemporary art, just as I love him?"

Curtain.

I think it quotational work (the slogan on the picture) Konstantin Latyshev. The phrase, incidentally, sounds - is not often
