Eugene E. Thierry (1909-1935) was born to a Russified French .
His father - Edward Erazmovich Thierry (1880-1953) was a director of the Moscow - Vindavsky (now - Riga ) railway.

In the late 1920 's - early 1930 's Eugene Thierry studied with Peter Petrovicheva , but it is not known whether he was engaged privately in a studio wizard , or a student of the Moscow Regional College of Art 1905 .
Beginning in 1927 , Eugene Thierry takes part in exhibitions of young artists in Moscow .
He participates in exhibitions of various artistic societies : " The Assembly "( later " The group of Moscow artists " ) in 1927 , " Kumach " and " Association of Artists " (both - 1931 ).
